Face Lift Alternatives and Home Remedies

Plastic surgery, and specifically face-lifts, comes with several things aside from the end result of a tighter face. Expensive invoices, painful recoveries, and scars are all things that typically expected after a procedure like this. Because of this, it isn’t surprising that many people look far and wide to try and find face lift alternatives and home remedies that can be used to get some of the same benefits at home with products that everyone keeps around the house. Combined with a healthy diet, plenty of sleep and exercise, there are some home remedies that you can explore in order to gain some of the effects you are looking for.

Fruit & Honey

There are so many benefits to fruit. In addition to the tons of vitamins and other life supporting, healthy nutrients, they can be used for so many different things. To make a great mask for healthy glowing skin, blend together a handful of cherries and strawberries, mix in a little honey to create your mask consistency, and apply to the face. Let it sit for about 20 minutes before rinsing away with warm water.

Bananas & Cream

Bananas are chock full of vitamins, including A, B, C, and E – along with minerals and other nutrients that help you get great looking skin. To create a nourishing mask with bananas, take a whole banana and mash it up with a quarter cup of heavy cream. Apply generously to the face and leave it for about 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water. Always pat the face dry gently instead of rubbing with a towel.

Sugar & Eggs

Sugar can be a great product to help exfoliate the skin, and eggs have tons of nutrients that are beneficial for our skin and our body. Mix 2 egg whites and tablespoon of sugar for a great facial scrub on areas with blackheads. Take it a step further by combining the yolks and another tablespoon of sugar for a mask. Leave the mask in place for 25 minutes and remove with a damp washcloth.
